If there's a Twilight shaped hole in your heart, then it's time to make room for a whole new cast of bloodsuckers in your life as the second trailer for Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters has finally landed. Starring Sarah Hyland, Zoey Deutch and Lucy Fry, the vampire flick is based on the best-selling and totally awesome series by Richelle Mead.

With the cast hitting Comic-Con in New York last month to talk about the movie, it's finally time to sink yourself into the second trailer, which we have to say is looking just as sexy and bloodthirsty as we'd been hoping.

Any fan of a vampire based book will probably have consumed the Vampire Academy series in one go, but if you're yet to get your hands on them, they tell the story of Dhampir girl Rose, played by Zoey. Studying at a top secret boarding school, she's in training to become a guardian for her friend Lissa, who just so happens to be a member of vampire royalty and will be played by Lucy in the movie adaptation.

Unfortunately school life isn't safe or simple and Rose must protect her BFF, a peaceful Moroi vamp, from those who want to take advantage both within and outside its walls. Oh, and then there's the Strigoi, the evil vampires who hunt Lissa's kind outside the school's gates. Via Sugarscape.
